Lead UX Designer & UX Researcher
As the Lead UX Designer for the FitFind App, I directed the complete design process—from user research and persona development to wireframes, prototyping, and final iterations. I conducted usability studies, created user journey maps, and led ideation sessions based on real user pain points. I translated insights into intuitive, mobile-first design solutions, continuously refining the app through feedback loops and two rounds of iterative testing.
Key UX activities included:
Identifying pain points through user research
Designing personas, journey maps, and user flows
Building paper and digital wireframes in Figma
Conducting two usability studies to validate the prototype
Implementing data-informed iterations to improve purchase flows, simplify payment, and enhance app navigation
With accessibility and usability as guiding principles, the final design delivered a streamlined user experience backed by actionable insights and high-fidelity prototypes.
The Challenge
Many fitness enthusiasts struggle to maintain wellness routines due to time constraints, lack of accessible classes, and limited social connection. FitFind set out to solve this by designing a mobile app that connects users to local and on-demand fitness options—anytime, anywhere.
We asked:
How might we empower busy users to meet their fitness goals through intuitive, flexible digital experiences?
The Problem
Our research revealed four core user frustrations:
• Limited time to attend scheduled classes
• Difficulty finding online and local options that fit their needs
• Fragmented access to fitness communities
• Frustration with confusing navigation and unclear payment flows
These pain points informed the design challenge: create a streamlined experience that supports health, discovery, and community within one app.
The Process
I led an iterative UX design process beginning with research-driven empathy. From journey maps and personas to affinity mapping and usability testing. Each phase uncovered actionable insights. I built wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma, then refined them through two rounds of user testing, focusing on usability, clarity, and conversion flow.
This process ensured every design decision was rooted in real user behavior, preferences, and pain points.
The Goal
Design a mobile fitness app that helps users take control of their wellness through local class discovery, on-demand streaming, or connecting with a fitness network. The final solution prioritizes ease of use, seamless navigation, and a supportive user journey from login to workout.
